UFO Photo Project: Light Anomaly Times 3

Today’s post is all about the pictures. As promised here are the UFO/light anomaly images I said I would post.
The first set of images are of the secondary light anomalies/UFO’s my son and I saw after I had finished the large series of the main light in the west.
The second series of images are the WOW! images I took of the main anomaly or UFO. These have all been taken the same way I’ve taken shots of this object every other time. The conditions were the same on the ground as always. No wind, clear, etc. The camera was tripod mounted and I used 3x zoom. Nothing was different, and yet the images were, well, rather astounding: The color has become VERY blue, there’s a definite “flame” halo at the base of the object and it started doing some extraordinary things, like… Naah. If you want to know, I’ll let the pictures of this UFO (or whatever it is) do the talking because anything I say would just spoil it: There’s nothing like that OMG sensation. I know, since it happened to me when I looked at them. These are NOT boring or repetitive shots and are worth seeing.
Pay close attention to the images April 11-12 and April 11-13 Close-ups (last images of the secondary light anomalies). Both these objects were visible in the northwest at the same time as the ones that follow afterwards of the UFO/anomaly due west. The last image is the last one I photographed for the night. To quote from yesterday: “These secondary objects would hang steadily at NW, then move slowly north, then after about 5 minutes would make a sharp right angle turn to the west and have a definite vehicular look to it, blinking lights and all. At the time, I thought I had taken shots of a small plane.” In fact, I only took 3 pictures of the object because I was certain I had taken images of a small plane. As you can see, it is not a plane. It actually looks like the UFO/anomaly I’ve been posting about. The 11-12 object/UFO you’ll understand when you get to main anomaly images.
As a result of the secondary lights, particularly the last one that I thought was a plane (despite the sharp right angle turn and moving backwards with the main light continuously facing forwards), I’m beginning to think the one I usually post about is vehicular in nature. I was thinking maybe something organic, maybe not as we understand that kind of thing, but I think life does have a propensity to surprise. Who knows? Maybe it is organic, and looking like ordinary things to the naked eye is a defensive mechanism - camoflage. I just don’t know.
On to the UFO images:
I need to do a little clarifying here:
Smart Sharpen is a Gimp Script-Fu that allows an image to be sharpened without the addition of extra noise or distortions. Basically, it makes the image sharper the way it should. All images that have this applied to them, have this done at full size. Full-sized images then are scaled down to 640×480 for web viewing (5 mega pixels = 2592×1944).
All nightime shots taken between 9:00pm - 9:45pm
Canon A95
Tripod mounted (and the tripod braced), 3x zoom
All close-up images are taken from full image and are at 98% quality or better.

April 11-10 - Full, smart sharpen (Gimp Script-Fu). Does as little to distort the image, whilst sharpening the details. Quality at 95%.

April 11-10a - Large, smart sharpen only. Quality at 100%.
April 11-10a - Large, smart sharpen applied. The image was also duplicated 3x and each layer was set to the transparent layer mode Screen. This simply brightens the image. Quality at 95%.
Note the blue light in the lower right.

April 11-11 - Full, smart sharpen, midtone levels increased significantly (3.34). Quality at 80%.

April 11-11a - Large, smart sharpen. Quality at 100%
April 11-11a - Large, smart sharpen. Image duplicated once, set to layer mode Screen. Quality at 100%.

April 11-12 - Full, smart sharpen, midtone levels increased significantly (3.34). Quality at 75%
April 11-12 - Close-up, smart sharpen. Image duplicated 3x, all layers set to layer mode Screen. Quality at 98%.

April 11-13 - Full, smart sharpen, midtone levels increased significantly (3.34). Quality at 80%
April 11-13 - Close-up, smart sharpen. Quality at 100%.

*UPDATE: This “anomaly” has been found to be Venus.
When you look at these images, remember that the camera is mounted on a tripod (a Cullmann 2902 - if you don’t want to go look it up, it’s a good one). I took these as I’ve taken every other series of this object. All settings are the same; Scene Mode - Nightshot, 3x zoom. That’s it, nothing else. I only saw a bright “star” like I do every time I look at this thing. As they are presented to you, again other than the 2 sizes, nothing whatsoever has been done to these images. This is excepting one image - UFO 11.
These images are going to be presented as follows:
In two resolutions - 100% and 200%.
Image quality is all at 100%.

Here’s where the images get really interesting…

April 11 UFO 15-100 - Image at 100%
April 11 UFO 15-200 - Image at 200%
This image (UFO 15) is the very next one after the UFO 14 image. In image 14, note the clarity as well as the twisting of the “stalk”.

April 11 UFO 16-100 - Image at 100%
April 11 UFO 16-200 - Image at 200%
Note the curling of the “stalk” and the lack of fuzziness. Definitely not a focus issue.
April 11 UFO 17-100 - Image at 100%
April 11 UFO 17-200 - Image at 200%
This one almost looks like it’s flowering to me.

April 11 UFO 18-100 - Image at 100%
April 11 UFO 18-200 - Image at 200%
This image was taken directly after the “flowering” one.

April 11 UFO 19-100 - Image at 100%
April 11 UFO 19-200 - Image at 200%
Notice the lack of blurring. My camera has never produced a double image of anything I’ve photographed, day or night.
I hope to put together full composite images of the entire series I took. If I do, I’ll post them after I test them for how they print out. Please leave the NewBranes.com url in the images, thank-you.
