We need your help! Try as we might, omnipotence still eludes us, and that’s where you can help us. You see, as we peruse the ‘net looking for cool stuff for NewBranes, we find ourselves missing bits. Important bits, cool bits, and unfortunately, your bits. Do you have a site or blog about things paranormal? If so, we would love to know about it. Even better, we would love to have you write for NewBranes!

Send us your best articles, or point us to a bit of news that we missed, and fame and glory will be yours… or at least credit and a link to your site. We are looking for articles and news covering the paranormal, metaphysics, alternative science or history, ufo’s and aliens, or just about anything that makes the mainstream nervous.

But first: the rules (sorry, keeps the bad people out)

Do’s:

  • Topics: paranormal, metaphysics, parapsychology, alternative, fringe, or cutting edge science, alternative history, cryptozoology, ufo’s, aliens, and abductions.
  • Did we miss your topic? Feel free to suggest it!
  • Graphics are ok, jpg’s, gif’s, or png’s (with no transparency) please. If the images need to be in a particular spot in the article, just make a note of it. Send the graphics as an attachment to the email.
  • Grammar and spelling are a must. Please spellcheck your work before you submit it to us. If your editor doesn’t have a built in spellchecker, may we recommend OpenOffice.org? It’s a versatile, powerful, free drop in replacement for Microsoft Office, and the NewBranes editor of choice. Did I mention that it’s free?
  • Make sure to include a resource paragraph at the end of your article. This is your signature. It will tell our readers a bit about you, and include a link to your site (as applicable)

Dont’s:

  • No “sales pitches”. Make your content informative, entertaining and/or helpful. If you want to sell something, that’s ok, but do it on your site, not NewBranes.
  • Sorry, no affiliate links in the body of the article, or the signature. If your site is in the business of selling something, that’s ok, but please link to your front page, not your conversion page.
  • Any links that lead to a site deemed to be “spammy” will not be included in the signature. Period, no exceptions. And yes, we do check every one of them.
  • Articles are to be original content, no copying without permission.
  • Absolutely NO defamatory, racist, hate, illegal or “adult” oriented matter. We reserve the right to make final judgement as to the suitability of any topics or articles submitted for inclusion on NewBranes.

For anything not covered here, either in the Do’s or the Dont’s, we reserve the right to make final judgement on the suitability of the article or link submitted.

Ok, now that we have that out of the way, go ahead and send us your best stuff. If you’re not sure if your work follows the rules, there’s a chance that it doesn’t, but you can send it to us anyway. As I said earlier, omnipotence still eludes us, so you never know, right?
